How do we target four times more candidates?

It’s really simple. A lot more simple than it should be. And it all comes back to our key approach at Ardeo Search.

We do things the right way.

Yes, we’re using some great new tools to do it - and that’s why we’re using cutting-edge AI and automation tools to do our work better. Really though, it’s just a case of us doing things as they should be done.

But first - here’s some context. Every year or two IBM surveys 30,000 of its employees. They share some of the details of the survey and it’s all very interesting reading for anyone in the world of HR.

One of the key bits of data from this report is that 16% of their staff are actively looking for a new job at any given time. This is the candidate pool that most recruiters go after. They’re people that will always reply to a message or always pick up the phone. They’re also often the people that will apply directly to your job advert.

The same survey says that 46% of people aren’t actively looking for their next position, but they’d move for a better opportunity in the next 12 months. This tells us that 62% of people would move for the right opportunity.

In fact, this is backed up by a recent PwC survey which discovered that in our post-pandemic world, 66% of people are likely to leave their current job in the next year.

When we recruit for you, we want to speak to the two-thirds of people thinking about a move. We do this by personalising every single approach that we make, trying to find the best way to sell the opportunity to the potential candidate. It’s a lot more work - but it yields better results for us and better results for you.

No magic wand. No tricks. Just us going back to basics and doing recruitment right.
